Let's talk about the Franks
How can germscum can claim that "DEY WUZ GERMANIC N SHEIT" while they look like pic related ?
>The Franks (Latin: Franci or gens Francorum) are historically first known as a group of Germanic tribes that inhabited the land between the Lower and Middle Rhine in the 3rd century AD, and second as the people of Gaul who merged with the Gallo-Roman populations during succeeding centuries, passing on their name to modern-day France and becoming part of the heritage of the modern French people. Some Franks raided Roman territory, while other Frankish tribes joined the Roman troops of Gaul. In later times, Franks became the military rulers of the northern part of Roman Gaul.
>Frankish (reconstructed Frankish: *Frenkisk), Old Franconian, or Old Frankish was the West Germanic language spoken by the Franks between the 4th and 8th century

But
Ammianus Marcellinus (born c. 325–330, died c. 391–400) was a Roman soldier and historian who wrote the penultimate major historical account surviving from Antiquity (preceding Procopius). His work, known as the Res Gestae, chronicled in Latin the history of Rome from the accession of the emperor Nerva in 96 to the death of Valens at the Battle of Adrianople in 378, although only the sections covering the period 353–378 survive.[1][2]
....
Ammianus served as a soldier in the army of Constantius II and Julian IN GAUL and Persia. He professes to have been "a former soldier and a Greek" (miles quondam et graecus),[7] and his enrollment among the elite protectores domestici (household guards) shows that he was of middle class or higher birth. Consensus is that Ammianus probably came from a curial family, but it is also possible that he was the son of a comes Orientis of the same family name. He entered the army at an early age, when Constantius II was emperor of the East, and was sent to serve under Ursicinus, governor of Nisibis in Mesopotamia, and magister militum.[8]

GREGORY OF TOURS, HISTORY OF THE FRANKS, BOOK 3
This is the evidence that the historians who have been named have left us about the Franks, and they have not mentioned kings. MANY RELATE THAT THEY CAME FROM PANNONIA and all dwelt at first on the bank of the Rhine, and then crossing the Rhine they passed into Thuringia, and there among the villages and cities appointed longhaired kings over them from their first or, so to speak, noblest family. This title Clovis' victories afterwards made a lasting one, as we shall see later on. We read in the Fasti Consulares that Theodomer, king of the Franks, son of Richimer, and Ascyla his mother, were once on a time slain by the sword. They say also that Chlogio, a man of ability and high rank among his people, was king of the Franks then, and he dwelt at the stronghold of Dispargum which is within the borders of the Thuringians. And these parts, that is, towards the south, the Romans dwelt as far as the Loire. But beyond the Loire the Goths were in control; the Burgundians also, who belonged to the sect of the Arians, dwelt across the Rhone in the district which is adjacent to the city of Lyons. And Chlogio sent spies to the city of Cambrai, and : they went everywhere, and he himself followed and overcame the : Romans and seized the city, in which he dwelt for a short time, and he seized the land as far as the river Somme. Certain authorities assert that king Merovech, whose son was Childeric, was of the family of Chlogio.

Probably because the Franks spoke a Germanic language and originated from the Germanic Rhine-land and most people educated on the subject agree that they were indeed a Germanic tribe (or rather a collection of such).
>>2636117
>most people educated on the subject agree that
And most people educated on the subject agree that Germanic were(and they still are) blond-red haired, but the Franks were not blond -red haired as proven by the Carolingian illuminations, thus they weren't Germanic.
>people keep ignoring the possibility that the Franks could've mixed with the local Roman nobility of Gaul
OP might be onto something. We would just need DNA tests to confirm.

>that the Franks could've mixed with the local Roman nobility of Gaul
I have already proved that the Gauls were still blond-red haired when the Franks came in Gauls. What i'm saying is that their dark hair prove that they weren't Germanic in the first place, and were most likely a Pannonian tribe like ancient sources claimed it.
