During the spanish civil war, there was a meeting arrenged between some of the internal factions of the Republican side in the cityhall of a small city in Catalonia: socialdemocrats, communists and anarchists. During the meeting the lights went off. They distrusted eachother so much that the only thing they heard in the darkness were the sounds of eachothers pistols being charged under the table. When the lights came back, they continued the meeting as if nothing had happened.
