How did alsatians and lorrains reacted when the germans annexed them?
Did they really wanted to stay in France?

Alsace spoke a version of German, Lorraine spoke a version of French, so I'm guessing a mixed reaction.
Bismarck advised against annexing Lorraine.

it's a border region, those that remember being from the last master care, those that are young grow up under the new, the cycle is finished now I suppose, the french have well stamped it out
The first Reichstag delegates from Alsace-Lorraine protested against the annexation and demanded a referendum. Later on, outspoken opposition to German rule decreased, however, autonomism was strong in the province; in fact, autonomism was still a big factor in the interwar period.
