The idea that races do not exist is an invention of the 1960's when marxist and jewish academics sought to undermine hereditarian ideas, combat racism and anti-semitism. Gould for example falsefied measurement results to come to the conclusion that there is not difference in skull size between races. The in general dedicated themselves to harrassing geneticist, the psychologist who studied psychometrics etc. in order to further their political agenda. They managed to change the norms within the "social scienes" and anthropology.

These ideas are not the norm among anthropologists in Eastern Europe or Asia, where the communists where all ready in charge and the power grab was not necessary.

The idea that race isn't real or only imaginary is not a popular position held by geneticists or within medicine, where they actually use it, they need results and are not simply a propaganda arm of an institution.
