What agriculture is in fast decline right now, crop diversity is marginal, ecosystems don't work right, and the climate is set to destablize. Soil erosion, water loss, soil acidification, loss of soil carbon, loss of insect pollinators loss of biodiversty in general are all huge threats to agriculture which is going to collapse from over exploitation and environmental change

In the US mid-west, they are turning fucking farm land into suburb housing projects by the thousands if not more.

Farm land is getting torn up for some shit cookie cutter housing projects.

Would rather have excess crops and food than some extra houses to live in.

Easily could tear down the fucking abandoned hell holes of the old abandoned ghettos and other housing areas and rebuild them. But on the down side, it's the city, and no one wants to live there, especially in a bad area.
