but the citizens for allowing it to happen.

damn......... really made me think

Stop blaming the victim. Should women automatically know better than to be seduced by predators?
>>
Shit, decent thought OP. Great Man Theory is not true, why not the reverse? Not saying leaders shouldn't be held accountable for their actions but can all these people really just say they were doing their job?

>Stop blaming the victim

What victim? You can stop following orders at any time, friendo. The 'victim' voted for Hitler knowing what was going to happen.

Same goes for the army.
>>
The Bosch always managed to make himself the villain

I don't suppose that ever really ended, they're just really proficient in preventing themselves from realizing it in this century

Yes, the people locked up in concentration camps, death camps and gulags were the REAL criminals.

Hitler wasn't "voted" into power, you fucking idiot.

Hitler was selected as chancellor because he won the majority of the vote. One of the folloies of more then 2 party elections
>>
>>2544623
It was more to do with the Reichstag fire. If the SocDems and Commies had worked together instead of infighting and selected a good candidate Hitler would have never got to power. It's not like everyone was just enthusiastic about Hitler gaining power.
>>
>>2544618

why are liberals so good at writing top tier hitler speeches?
>>
>>2544617
>Hitler wasn't "voted" into power, you fucking idiot.

What the fuck are you talking about, brainlet? He was elected Chancellor and the people did nothing when he took full control after Hindenburg's death.

>It's not like everyone was just enthusiastic about Hitler gaining power.

Oh, really? Then why did all the Germans parade and cheer victory when Hitler invaded and took France?

Were they all good bois that dindu nuffin?

Wake up, cuck! The true monster isn't Hitler but the everyday man that sat by and let him do what he wanted.
>>
>>2544645
I didn't really get any strong liberal vibes from that movie. If anything, it felt like the writers were very neutral.
>>
>>2544635

The Reichstag fire occurred after Hindenburg appointed him Chancellor. The fire was excuse to enact the enabling act which led to the dictatorship. Hitler won the election by itself, but yeah, if the other parties wern't being shitheads they could have blocked it, but they didn't and Hindenburg had no other choice. German federal democracy was young and untested.

Honestly the Germans should have been allowed to reform their government under British style parliamentary system with the Kaiser as a symbolic head of power (as long as it was Willy's son as the new Kaiser.) Having the old tradiitions would be a significant reminder of their past. Wiemar was untested waters.

Many people in Germany, the US and Europe protested and tried to stop him. German goods were sanctioned and ships were even attacked.
>The true monster isn't Hitler but the everyday man that sat by and let him do what he wanted.
By the time that happened much of his opposition was imprisoned and the populace brainwashed.

Imprisoned by whom and allowed themselves to be brainwashed by whom?

There is always a choice...
