Why is it in Western society that it's seen as a bad thing to live with your parents?
I'm not really trying to defend being useless, but if you have an income and a job, why wouldn't it be a good thing that you have multiple incomes in a family to help pay off the house or save money for when something bad happens?

Stop using the word Western to mean specifically Anglo.
Jews pushed the idea to destroy the Western family, this is all very well documented.

In Scandinavia iirc it's even worse than Anglo

Could be, but you don't see that mentality in for example Italy or Spain. It's like when individualist Anglo culture thinks individualism is a "western" trait while German mentality for example is very collectivist.

I think it has to do with how economically good a place is.
Nobody likes to listen to their parents or be nagged by them when they become teenagers and adults, so they move out if the area they live in is economically in a good situation and they're able to get a good job and good money. If they make it on their own so early, this is seen as a good thing. In poorer places like eastern Europe or most of modern day America that isn't the east coast, it's more economically smart to have multiple incomes to pay off property faster and/or also have income you can put in savings for when something bad happens. People in middle America typically don't move out until their middle or late 20's, while sometimes in poor countries they don't move out at all sometimes.
Its the West embracing socialism. Ever since the rise of the New Left, the socialists have wanted to undermine the family unit and the history of society itself. Promoting that children move out is all part of this.
Furthermore, they want you to be poor because they believe they have a better chance of recruiting you to their cause. If you move out while you are young, it's highly likely that you will suffer a loss of income.
