>only Muslim-majority country to have a Christian deputy leader.
Why was this?
Cos Saddam like him heaps. who the fuck knows and who cares?

Saddam was mostly secular.
Also, soon Ethiopia will be majority muslim, and its ran by christians.

Imma Saddam, I likeh you, I like baaths.
Is nice~
Christians were always very active in secular Arab nationalist movements, for obvious reasons.
Lebanon is a muslim majority country and their president HAS to be a christian according to their constitution

Was about to mention Lebanon, but you beat me to it

>>only Muslim-majority country to have a Christian deputy leader.

Because you don't understand the Baath party.

Well the Lebanese president is just ceremonial and has no executive power ever since 1991
Also saying it's majority Muslim is disingenuous since the Muslims are roughly evenly split between Shiite and Sunni, who absolutely hate each other and would each rather form blocs with Christians than each other.
Lebanon was founded by Christians as a christian country but Muslims became a majority by overbreeding
Baathism was basically Arab Marxism and tried to secularize the country.
The reality is that Baathist regimes killed far more Muslims than Islamism has, so thinking that it was a positive influence on the Muslim world is silly unless you hate Muslims and want them all to die.

Lebanon doesn't country as a country. It's an Iranian rocket silo, Palestinian ghetto, gay bathouse, and Syria without a real central government

It killed more political Islamists, but al Qaeda and Isis have definitely killed more people overall.
Baathism doesn't target you for death unless you oppose them politically you can be Christian, Sunni, (Saddam) or Shiite (Assad) for all they care as long a you're not a hardcore Islamist.
