Why did Santa Anna get his shit pushed in so hard in the Mexican-Amerifat war? I thought he was supposed to be the 'napoleon of the west'
>>2509547
Because he was up against Scott.
Seriously, Scott's the best general America forgot. He kicked ass from the War of 1812 up to the Mexican-American War, and won the Civil War despite being retired in late 61. Anaconda Plan 2stronk.

Santa Anna couldn't even fucking beat Texas. What on earth makes you think he could beat the entire U.S.?
>>2509547
Santa Anna lost just because he was a stupid irresponsible guy. He defeated the revolutionary "Texans", but was surprised by San Jacinto only because he ordered his army to rest a lot (although he really got drunk that day). And, you can easily search the battle of Angostura, the key battle of the Mexican-American War, where you clearly defeated Taylor, but retired without reason at the end of the battle. After that, everything was lost.
In a nutshell, Santa Anna was a true Mexican. A witty dude with a lot of potential, but lazy and irresponsible as fuck.

Actually, pretty much every contemporary European observer of the time thought that the Mexicans would drub the Americans.
>>2509547
Really makes me think
>>2509547
Better question is why did the US give Mexico back to the Mexicans? Do you have any idea the wealth that we could have generated had Mexico been a number of US states? How much better off all of the people living in Mexico would be right now? How much shorter the southern wall would have to be?

Because Mexicans are brown and Catholic and speak Spanish. If they became citizens, they would have formed a significant constituency that took away power from good white folk. Same reason we didn't annex the Philippines.
>>2511129
Yes, we could have freed them from Rome too. A true human tragedy, giving Rome that much power in our hemisphere.
Who do you think is paying $10,000 per child for train tickets from Guatemala to San Diego? Guatemalan dirt farmers?
No, the US is being invaded by Rome as surely as Europe is being invaded by the Caliphate.

Do you have any evidence to support your Catholic migration conspiracy theory?

>Actually, pretty much every contemporary European observer of the time thought that the Mexicans would drub the Americans.
Woah, Americans are more impressive than what I thought. They won against a nation with three times less population, that 15 years ago was still at war with a politically unstable metropoli that never allow its colonies to have industry, while the United States was trading with the Brits for 70 years already.
Has there been a more impressive comeback in world's history?

>he thinks that fair fights are a great idea
Haha pleb
>>2511147
Yes. The fact that the southern border is being flooded by catholic peasants who are being hidden from US authorities in catholic sanctuary cities.
Again, do you think a Guatemalan dirt farmer has $70,000 cash to send his 7 kids on a train to the US?
The Vatican has hated the UK and USA for our entire existences. They hated the Magna Carta and they hated the Declaration of Independence.
Jesuit infiltration is complete in the US; they even had a papist as president not too long ago.
All papists should meet the same end as him.
>>2511155
No, there has never been a more amazing country than the US.
It's a shame we are not indestructible; that it is far easier to destroy than it is to create or even maintain.
>>2511164
>Magna Carta was created by Catholics
>>2509547
Delusion.
>>2511194
Just the bope hated it
