Manlets are ideal for modern warfare. Easier to fit into AFVs, smaller target, can carry more % of body weight, etc.

The reason why super tall dudes are represented in the US special forces is because the US SOF doesn't fight any opponents aside from terrorists and random villagers trying to defend their homes. You don't have to git gud if you fight goat fuckers all the time.

No, imagine being 10cm tall, basically impossible to hit right? but you can still hold a gun and shoot just as easily so you have the same fire-power but can't be neutralized as easily. Getting rid of all the baggage and making it most efficient, man and gun. No need for all those excess inches. By the way lanklets are weak and soft because they never need to fight so wounds will hurt them more.
