Why aren't the immediate post-WW1 conflicts considered WW2? They evolved directly from that war and involved many of the same players. And when taken together, were definitely global in nature; they all also wrapped up around the same time, 1922.

Because they're part of the First World War. Why do people act like all the fighting worldwide just magically ended with the November 11th Armistice?

These can all just be considered different theaters of the massive Eurasian clusterfuck that emerged in the wake of the October Revolution, so it's not really a coincidence that they all came to a conclusion within a short time frame as the Soviet Union consolidated power.
