Are Kurds one of the lost tribes of Israel? Because of them tracing their roots to the Kurdish King David and the original exile.
And if so, shouldn't they be allowed to make aliyah?

10 lost tribes is truly the worst source of we wuzzing historically. If you want a serious answer the 10 lost tribes is misleading on several levels. first off: Israelites in the tribes of Simeon, Judah, Levi (part) and Benjamin (part) were in the kingdom of Judah. second, Israel (northern kingdom) wasn't totally depopulated. Just like with the Babylonians later with Jerusalem, only the capital Samaria was depopulated, and even then according to their deportation policies the peasants wouldn't have been part of it. They only deported political leaders/upper class and skilled craftsmen. Wanna meet the real lost tribes? They're still in Israel. You've probably heard of them from the gospels: Samaritans.

So, who are Kurds deciding to WE WUZ as?
Lost Tribe of Israel? You are Iranian nomads, not Israelites.
Hitties, as a claim to Anatolia? Hitties weren't Iranians, unlike Kurds.
Or Medes, because some Russian claimed some similarities? He were wrong, and the time gap between Kurds and Medes is over 1000 years.
Kurds are inferior nomads without homeland of their own.
