Just came back from a Picasso Exhibition.
Holy shit what a hack! Cant wrap my mind over the fact hes considered like the quintessential artist, an artists's artist. Is the history of art dead? Schools are dead and it all seems to have delved into some sort of sea of crossover techniques with an anything goes base philosophy.

the doodles i posted in the OP were Picassos late, mature stage. go figure.
for starters i dont think he had any drawing skill. the only thing i found moderately interesting was the man with guitar painting, but of course, that was a futurism ripoff. his sculptures were whack as fuck.

Honestly any of Picasso that isn't his abstract meme style is actually well done representative art. I doubt they even show anything that isn't his standard meme style though.
