Is it a consensus among historians that the Romans - the patricians, the emperors, the senators, those who built all the glory of Rome, those who made Rome become what it is famous for - were Mediterranean looking (like Southern Italians and Arabs) rather than Northern European looking (like Germans and Scandinavians)?
