Apostacy I guess would be the technical term for it. Lapsed Catholic is also a popular saying, though it's slightly different from someone who professes to be Christian but never does anything with it.

It's pretty hard to put a term to it for protestants since there's not really any rules one has to follow except profess your faith in God. Even the church structure isn't required for a personal relationship with God by their beliefs. It's entirely possible to be saved and never actually do anything else, and your fellow Christians will be hesitant to call you out on it in fear of seeming like they're rejecting sola scriptura.
