Is Maximilian armour the end of all armours or is there something even better yet?
There is no end all for armor. What you should wear depends entirely on the situation you face and the opponent you're up against.
Aesthetically, it's brilliant looking though.

yes
It's called 17th century armor
>>2423712
It's amazing defensively as well. It combines the roundness of Italian armour with the fluting of German armour.

Can it survive modern rifle bullets? Because modern armor can...
Just like there is no best weapon there is no best armor, it all depends on the context of its development.

It couldn't survive battles in that time. Dude is called The Last Knight because he stylized himself as a knight but knighthood was already in decline for a long time.

This one knows.

*greets you jovially*

Mech suits are going to surpass it.
>ITT /k/ faggots falling for a ceremonial armor that never survived a military purpose

I came.

Obviously there were later styles of armour, e.g. this early 16th century suit by Kunz Lochner of Nuremberg.

Fluted armour was merely a popular style of the very late 15th and early 16th. It served the same purpose as any other type of plate armour.
There are grotesque suits which were more costumes than armour, but even those are usually made in the fashion that they would be as protective as any other types of armour (albeit less practical in design).
