Why should we believe that this thing even existed?
>>2405526
Other civilizations said they existed.
linguistical evidence. records from other civilization
>>2405526
Literally other civilisations commented on them. I know what you mean though
Couldn't you say the same thing about the Mongols, the largest empire the world has ever seen?
>>2405597
no, there are ruins on khartoum or whatever was called their descendants did create lots of stuff
we have more ruins from tribes in chile than this suposed great middle age empire
I mean just compare it to armenia or georgia, lots of stuff from that same time yet nothing from kazharia
>>2405586
Not exactly. They may have conquered a lot, but the Caucasus are hard to build the kind of structures that survive for long periods of time. Stone is hard to quarry, mountains make roads difficult to make, and they may have had their teachings destroyed by Christian or Muslim zealots, so their written history may be lost.

>largest empire
>What is the Finnish empire
OP just caught historians in a lie!
The answer to who was really lived in that area during that time period: no body
>>2405597
If you were a complete moron you could say that, sure.
There's TONNES of shit left over from the Mongols, from forts, to coins, to written documents.
>>2405615
I just googled it. Here ya go faggot.

>>2405636
absolutely pathetic if that's all we have, just fucking bricks
they really were jews huh? fucking cheap bastards, they could have made some new temple of solomon or something
>>2405526
Actually there are turkic-speaking jews still living in Crimea: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimean_Karaites , it's quite possible they're somehow related to Quasars.

They aren't so ancient that you don't have reliable sources on them, and it's not as if anyone was reporting anything particularly fantastical about them. They just weren't particularly productive, and most of what they did produce was extractable foodstuffs and slaves. Most of the population centers they did build are cities today.
It's also not as if they didn't leave behind plenty of artifacts, farmlands, and the like.
>>2405676
They were an extension of the Gökturks that assimilated with local Scythian/Indo-Iranian tribes and became yet another Iranian-Turkic confederation like every other in the Eurasian Steppe that left nothing of what you mentioned behind.
The only really unique thing about them which caused controversy was the whole Judaism conversion thing.
As other has mentioned though, there have been Jews in that area since the times of the original exile. But those have more to do with being allowed amnesty within Persia like the Kavkaz jews or setting up tradeposts along the Silk road even during the times of David, like the ones in todays Uzbekistan, aka Bukharan Jews.
People pretty definitely lived in that area at that time, and it probably was given that name for whatever reason.
The whole conspiracy that all or most modern jews come from there is based on very flimsy evidence, and the truth is that it's a theory that's very convenient for people on all sides of the Jewish question to use.
All they really have is one writing by a foreigner who claimed one king converted to Judaism. Who even knows what this non-Jewish king's, who was hundreds of miles and years removed from Judea, version of the religion even looked like? This random kingdom that barely was around being behind all the jews makes way less sense then the story the Jews themselves give (Scattered through the empire>North Africa>Up through Iberia and Italy)
It always make me cringe when people still talk about the Khazar-Jew theory. It's Zeitgeist tier.
But, sure. It might have been a place. In what is literally the least relevant region on the planet. Seriously. Who's the most relevant independent country to have ever existed down there? Armenia? Georgia whenever they almost start a NATO conflict?
>>2407387
the jewish question has nothing to do with the fact that this suposed empire left almost no trace whatsoever

>Finnish
>Not Greater Hwangook
Finnboos please go, there's a reason you lost the Hyperwar.

On one hand, I agree that the Khazer theory is bunk based on evidence, including the fact the fact that we have a steady stream of sources talking about the Jews post diaspora which talk about them in the same terms they'd be talked about during the Middle Ages.
On the other hand, the idea that Jews share much DNA with the inhabitants of Judea also is bunk. From what I can tell most Jews are decended from European converts during the Roman Empire times.
>>2405526
Because a Serb uses them as an allegory in 3 voluminous books.
>>2409487
Jews are actually mongrels of European (mostly Italian), Caucasian and Middle Eastern heritage.
Furthermore, people forget that Khazar empire wasn't really Turkic, merely their elite was. Most people were of Caucasian and Indo-European extraction.
>>2409487
>the idea that Jews share much DNA with the inhabitants of Judea also is bunk.
why do you say that? genetic studies of ashkenazi jews, sephardi jews and mizrahi jews who stayed living in the middle east show them all to be closely related.
>>2405526
>>No coins
There is a Khaza coins written in Arabic with Moses described as messenger of God
>>2409882
>why do you say that? genetic studies of ashkenazi jews, sephardi jews and mizrahi jews who stayed living in the middle east show them all to be closely related.
Bullshit
Most of the Jews aren't racially Herbews, they're mongrels coming from various continents.
Only 20-30% of the Jews have semitic ancestry(J1 and J2 Haplogroups), and it doesn't even mean that they're Hebrews.
>>2405526
Last remnants of the Finnish Empire
>no evidence it's ever existed
So why do you believe in god?
