The bible is just a book, a material thing, it costs money to produce and therefore money to buy. It has nothing to do with salvation.

The message of god, "Christianity". is about salvation and going to church is, and always has been free.

There are lots of believers willing to give you "their" version of the 50,000 bibles out there: for free.

The salvation part is about their god saving the children from emotional and spiritual hell and from trauma. It appears they want to save the little boys most.

Actually, it's in the public domain and you can easily get it for free in digital format. If you want a printed copy though, you'll have to pay for it as printing costs money and printers want profit.
