How else would you punish authoritarians and fascists?

It was the military dictatorship of CNT/FAI militias, just like Rojava is a military dictatorship of the YPG, or how Makhno partisans were no more than peasant bandits.

Anarchists are so lacking of anything to latch upon that is not a patriarchal society that they will romanticize any warlord who calls himself anarchist. It's like seriously considering the Baron von Ungern-Sternberg the heir to Genghis Khan, just because he said so.
