That's not what either word means in Western thinking.

Conservative means to have socially conservative values, people who are conservative tend to also be nationalist but they are not the same thing.

Being nationalist means taking pride in your country.

Being obsessed with being ethnically homogeneous is ethno-nationalism often bleeding into neo-nazism. It's only ethno-nationalists who try and shorten this to just 'nationalism' and conflate the two concepts.
