Hello /his/,
A friend discovered this in a German trench in l'aisne, it seems like an old glass bulb full of some liquid, does anyone know what it is ?

Could be a halogen enclosed mine, they were experimented with in that exact region; they were ineffective and scrapped.

Wow, what do you know about these ? Do you have any photos please ?

God damn it, not again.
We lost a /k/ommando just last weekend to a buried poison gas shell near Ypres. Why do you have to keep digging up WWI battlefields?

I completely made up what I said. Not enough of that object is uncovered to be able to identify what it may be.

Wish it was true
I'm the guy who found it. It's far too big to be a normal bottle.
It was meters away from a trench trash (lots of bottles, horses bones etc)
I stopped digging once i saw the size of it
Try and dig it out
