He worshiped the Father while on earth. His teachings and ideology were distinctly Christian. Including that he was the messiah. Hence those who follow the Christ are Christians, as was Christ. Its not about Jesus worshiping himself. Nor is that what makes one a Christian.

Nazirites weren't a "sect" of Judaism. They were people who took a vow to abstain from cutting hair, consuming wine or other grape products, and by going near the dead.

Given that the Gospels record Jesus drinking wine, and IIRC he lays his hands on dead old Lazarus, he certainly doesn't seem to be continuing any Nazirite vow he might have taken in the past by the time of his ministry, not that Nazirite-ness is a belief system.

The "Pharsiees" of the Gospels have an uncanny tendency to talk like Sadducees, get mad at him for committing acts which violate Sadduccee conceptions of things but not Pharisee ones (healing on the Sabbath springs to mind) and occupy Saddducee positions around Jerusalem.

In all likelihood, a historical Jesus was opposed to them, not the Pharisees, and later Christian writers, either deliberately or through simple ignorance, muddled the issue.
