Pretty simple thread, which medieval helmet was the most effective for it's time and which was the least effective when comparing each?
The last one looks like it provides the most protection.

all of the helms should be coupled with a coif.
I'd be tempted to pick the bottom right helm, but poor vision/hearing/breathing capabilities and flat top. I've read that conical helms were more effective

Unless the enemy has a lot of archers. Then a full helm is the way to go

no doubt, I'd just rather have one with an angled top and lifted visor like ones from the late 15th century
That second to last one, the enclosed helm with wider eye slits.
Best protection, eye slits very close to eyes so vision is quite good as well.
