I've decided to get into philosophy and fell for the start with the greeks meme. Should I start with Plato or Aristotle and which of their works should I read in which order? Also, where can I read them for free?
It's probably not really worth it to spend your life reading philosophy books of every school. read an overview and then try reading into a specific book and see if its something you can grasp/get behind.
Plato is probably the best to start because,
I) The Apology provides a nice ground for how to tackle philosophizing, and isn't a bad place to start.
II) While not exactly a response, Aristotle builds off of Plato's works, so knowing the latter while better inform you when you address the former.
Most works should probably on Gutenberg or floating around online if you just search the title, though I'm not sure how good their translations are, so shop around some, and if it comes down to it, try LibGen.

Neither, start with Thales, read the Presocratics as you can find them, and then move on to Plato, and then Aristotle.

I'm not sure that the Presocratics are the best starting point for beginners.
While they are extremely valuable to read, the works we have of theirs now are somewhat fragmented, which could be frustrating for someone just starting to read.
I found it a lot easier to understand Heraclitus after I had read Plato, and the same for the Eleatics, Milesians and others.
Listen to the episodes on the presocratics, Plato, and Aristotle from The History of Philosophy Without Any Gaps podcast and then read Plato and Aristotle. It'll help orient you and give you a better understanding of the material.
Don't forget to read the Stoics and the Epicureans too :)
Project Gutenberg as well as university websites should have most if not all of the stuff you need.
