Why are Poles only butthurt about ruskies for being mean to them in history, but mostly give the krauts a pass?
>>
>>2363301
Said who?
Surely most hate Russians since the cold war was the most recent one, but I´ve met some that despise both, and even Austria.
>>
>>2363304
They go so far as to call themselves East germanics instead of slavs because of their contempt against russia, ignorant of the fact that East germanics were just as, if not probably more mean towards them.
>>
>>2363301
>mostly give the krauts a pass

They don't.
>>
>>2363312
No, they don't.
>>
>>2363301
We don't.

We do sort of give the Austrians a pass though. Largely because the Habsburg empire was relatively benign and not engaged in aggressive Germanisation/Russification efforts like the other two partitioning powers.

Germany gave billions to Poland
>>
Polish population in Russian Poland doubled by the end of Russian rule.
I'm not saying it was ideal but they are just butthurt faggots who try to rationalize everything by blaming someone else.
Yeah communism was shit but you can hardly say it was "Russians", it was an ideology that trapped Russia too.
>>
>>2363416
>Polish population in Russian Poland doubled by the end of Russian rule.

As it did in all of Europe between the late 18th century and WW1.
>>
>>2363436
Irish population halved under "liberal" and "enlightened" British rule, in literally the same period.
So no, Poles weren't really suffering that much under Russian rule. If they weren't riled up by their degenerate nobles to revolt they would be treated even better.
Just to make it clear, I'm talking about Russian Empire, not USSR.
>>
>>2363301
Soviets ≠ Ruskies
>>
>>2363461
riiight. And Nazis ≠ Krauts
>>
>>2363301
>mostly give the krauts a pass?
Kek no.
>>
>>2363416
>Polish population in Russian Poland doubled by the end of Russian rule.
Wtf i love being a serf to ruskies now.
>>

>Irish population halved under "liberal" and "enlightened" British rule, in literally the same period.

No one called the British rule in Ireland liberal or enlightened you brave slayer of straw men.

Russian dealings with Poland were barbarous (e.g. the massacre of Warsaw civilians in 1794) but par for the course for the era.
>>
>>2363477
Nazis didn't seize power during a violent civil war and were openly German nationalists.
>>
>>2363447
And Irish people just LOVE the UK don't they...
>>
>>2363301
because the germans fucked them until 1945, the ruskis fucked them until 1989

cause Germans give us Leopard 2's and free money

Russians just act like vatniks

plus being pseudo occupied for 50ish years didnt help the resentment :^)
>>
>>2363301
Because almost no one is around to remember how badly the Germans fucked them in the 40s. But many, many people are around who remember how the Soviets fucked them in the 80s and how the Germans helped them in the 90s Additionally German-Polish relations right now are friendlier than Russo-Polish relations, and a Pole living right now is much more likely to have interacted with Germany positively in some way (enjoying their products, living or working in Germany, knowing someone who has, etc.) than Russia.

No enough gravel.

Today, Germany is a partner in defense against the Russians, who they see currently as a threat. Discourse adjusts accordingly.
This isn't hard, this how every country treats these topics.
>>
>>2363301
Casimir is more angry about grandpa's farm getting collectivized than the Jewish family down the street getting Auschwitzed

> Think a couple retards on pol are enough of an opinion sample

> be this retarded
>>
Poles still hate Germans, make no mistake. But Russia is their most recent enemy and is still a threat to them.
>>
>>2363301
Pexpletive worry much about the enemy of the future rather than the enemy of the past. For all purposes Germany and Poland are allies now and Germany is Poland's biggest threat in the future so Russian issues are played up big time in Polish imagination.
>>
>>2364905
I know a lot of poles who actually resent the Jews for hogging all the Holocaust pity. Many poles see the concentration camps as a crime committed mainly against Poland and Poles, with Jews being secondary to that, and so when the world only really recognizes and cares about the jews it puts a bug up their butts.
>>
>>2366436
Nice. They just completely ignore how Russians were treated worse than poles

If you make a Russian talk about WW2, he'll pound his chest and boast.

If you make a German talk about WW2, he'll crawl to corner, cry and apologize.
