Looks like an alternative history where Teddy won the 1912 ticket with the Progressive party (Green). By the looks of the rest of the candidates, Democrats never became the working-man's party and stayed as dixiecrat conservatives, Repubs are centrist neoliberals, and Progressives are closer to today's Green party.

Wilson gets his stroke before the election and teddy trounces taft in the electoral college. The progressives break from the Republicans and align themselves with teddy's hegemony. The south stays solidly conservative and democrat. Civil rights in the south doesn't happen until 40 years later. The south can't compete with the growing population of the north and west and are unable to secede due to american hegemony based off northern industry. Eventually civil rights occurs under obama.
