I'm reading a good book about Russia's cycle of government for the last thousand years. It's called "The Kremlin Conspiracy" and I would recommend it.

Just got finished reading "Korolev" by Hartford. Maybe not the most elegantly written book ever, but a good biography/history of the Chief Designer of the Soviet space program, and all the machinations of that.

No, not at all. I am Argentinean, we don't really care about descendence here. I know I have Spanish blood though. My great grandfather was literally slaying natives here in the "Crusada del Desierto" (an even where thousands and thousands of natives were killed to expand Argentina.)
I just find Russia intriguing, I don't need a super valid reason to study or research something. I am naturally curious.
