Seriously, are Jews the only people who have their very own language and religion? Beside of some small tribes with no importance it seems like the Jews are unique this way.
They don't all speak Hebrew/Yiddish
Fairly unusual, but the language isn't a continuum. It was basically "reinvented" in the 1800s. Hypothethically any ethnic group could do the same thing if they had enough international interest and financial means to recreate their own perceived identity.
