When/why exactly did this design become the most popular Confederate flag?
>>2214234
it was carried by the virginians, where the most famous battles took place.
>>2214234
the hillary flag will be revered for generations to come.
>>2214234
Saltires are sexy.
>>2214234
Dumbasses bought it, their dumbass friends and neighbors seent it, went out and got one for themselves.
This went on for some time and now we have a good physical marker for retarded people.
Its a sexy fucking flag, that's why.

Trucks and rebel flags are fucking stupid and gay.

Also suburbanites trying to be "country"because they have no culture of their own is one of the most disgusting things I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing.

When some guy said "Yeah, lets go with this design," after having been presented with choices, none of which were his own ideas.
>>2215344
Trucks are convenient as fuck and rebel flags look neat.
Fuck you
>>2215367
Trucks are convenient as fuck, if you are a farmer like I am.
Giant tires, mufflers, lift kits, and driving that thing to your indoor job/ school is the most retarded thing a can conceive of at this very moment.
>>2215357
I will never understand those people. I grew up around southern country types, and while they're not bad people, i can't see why you'd want to emulate them.
>>2215386
Because it is fun.
>>2214234
Scottish saltire
>>2215381
Is it wrong that I assume that any person with a lift kit is a douchebag?
>>2215386
It's a weird group cohesion thing.
These are the same people that listen to music that is played on the radio and watch reality tv and sitcoms.
Destroying civilization trying to fit in, it's just sad.
People aren't even human anymore, we are missing something.
>>2215394
Is this not country music?

>>2215397
I like lift kits that are used for actually going offfroad.
>>2215429
Putting a truck camper on a hilux and exploring the woods sounds maximum comfy.
Then I remember that there are no woods in Europe, you can't buy a Hilux in the US, and I never innawoods anyway.
>>2215432
Comfy if you don't know what you are doing. It tears up the forest floor, really fucks shit up.
So many people have seen trees and very few have ever seen a forest, I cry everytime.
>>2214234
Personally, I've never understood why pic related never caught on. It's more aesthetically pleasing, IMHO
>>2215652
too busy and asymmetrical
the simplicity of the battle flag is what makes it aesthetic tbchwym9
>>2215596

>>2215665
But compared to Scottish and English flags, the Confederate battle flag is itself pretty busy.
>>2215688
The CSA battle flag strikes a perfect balance between simplicity and complexity imo.
>>2215688
yeah but this is merica so it must be star spangled
>>2215429
>Going off-road makes you a douchebag.
no more of a douche-bag than you and your arrogant opinion would suggest.
while i feel that your point is more than valid and more should walk than drive, the egotistical way you make it means no one will ever listen to you.
>>2214234
>tfw that design wasn't invented in time to be the ackshual American flag
Why did the Founders have such awful taste?
>>2215727
I'm mad.
When people drive off road, I lose something I love.
Forgive me for wanting that not to happen and being an emotional animal.
>>2214234
Too busy losing to come up with a better design.
>>2214234
It was the original proposed Battle Flag, but reduced to a square shape to save money/test flags were be torn by bayonets.
The rectangular design was later resurrected for the flag of the Army of Tennessee and the Naval Jack in 1863.
>>2215652
this
Also, a unique look (the 1st National bears too much of a resemblance to the US Flag and the naval jack looks too much like the Saint Andrew's Cross/English flag).
>Tfw I think stars and bars is top tier and better than the original US flag.
>>2217368
Makes sense. Southerners have more of a romantic flair. Always have.
