>France doesn't help America in the Independence War, Britain crushes american rebels
BUT
>Napoleon never happens, ergo HRE never falls (or at least falls later in time)

There's only positives as far as the eye can be seen.
>>2205742
Worth it if only to see what kind of world would come out of the changes.
>>2205742
Well. The Directory exists, then fails quickly without military legitimacy and is destroyed by the Coalition, returning France to a Monarchy, though likely a much more constitutional one, either ruled by Louis' son or the Exiled Comte D'Artois
>>2205742
all of those are positive things
>>2205742
Where is the negative here? I literally don't see any.
>>2205742
I'd like to see what happens. America staying under British rule for a little longer would have some interesting consequences, and watching what Europe turns out to be like would be a treat.
Well the only reason Napoleon was bad is because he didn't win at the end.
So I guess I'd push the button.
>ergo HRE never falls
Then WWI and therefore WWII wouldn't happen either. Nice
>>2205742
Nah. The HRE was absolutely terrible. It would be better that the rebels are crushed and Napoleon creates his French Empire.
