Because writing as a vehicle for historical record-keeping has long since been replaced by electronic media.
Also current events are seriously pleb-tier and not worth wasting my superior talents on.

I have 11 volumes of diaries and ritual records.
Because if people wanted to know how shitty and inane our material culture is, they could just look at Facebook.
Plus, going on a twenty page tirade against the Jews would probably be pretty hard to write
I do though. I like to think they'll be studied, if not for their historical content, at least I hope it's general melancholy, misanthropy and ranting nature will make some space historian chuckle.
