Obviously, the blatantly white supremacist foundation of a horrifyingly large amount of Western Civilization (especially when Social Darwinism "legitimized" it) has caused a systemic inequality of resources and a generational structure of poverty that we need to fucking destroy altogether by making a concentrated effort to provide equal opportunities for basic needs to all.

I don't think anyone's suggesting you should flog yourself Junipero-Serra-style for the actions of your ancestors, though. That's just not useful.

But, like, we can burn down the patriarchy, rebel and dismantle the white-supremacist underpinnings of societal norms, and just consider for a moment our own complicity within these systems.

I sure hope they're right about it being "literally the last stage," though... because I'm pretty fucking tired of human history being an eternal cycle of ignorance and suffering.
