Honestly dawg just get age of empires 2 and play the game and read the in-game history entries most are pretty good. Prob will keep it interesting enough to get a good background instead of slogging through text as a noob
Stuff on the Paleolithic/Neolithic era.

Mostly because I want to learn about the social and cultural evolution of the human being, how the society became what it is. I also feel that learning history can help me developing useful knowledge to understand different social phenomenoms. Finally, I just want to increase my general knowledge, I think that history is full of mind-blowing information that can be fun to learn. Maybe I can find some fount of inspiration or learn something that will help me in life! I don't know, that's all the stuff that came to my mind to answer.
