Would someone else come up with the same ideas If he had never existed?
>>2056251
Yes, because of historical determenism.
>>2056251
What he said wasn't new.
>>2056274
This, it just wasn't popular. Marx just decided to say fuck it and publish it.
>>2056251
Well probably not. Maybe Communism wouldn't have been internationalist for example.
>>2056251
yes because he got his ideas from others. Are you six?
>>2056251
Sure because what he actually said is not important. Proof: it has been debunked forever and yet there are still Marxists today.
Here's what it's all about.
Every revolutinary movement is a movement of the resentful middle class that got left out of power, which middle class will ally itself with the lower class against the ruling class in an attempt to overthrow the ruling class.
Every revolutionary ideology is a narrative, more or less clothed in pseudo scientific garb, that serves as a pretext for that purpose.
Therefore it doesn't matter what said ideology actually says. Therefore it doesn't matter who the author is/was. Therefore yes, if Marx had never existed someone else would say some other thing to fill in as pretext for the socialist petite bourgeoisie to incite the proletariat against the ruling class.

What do you mean? All adults know about Marx's work in detail?
I fail to understand the value of Marx for Sociology, I get it in historical term, many, such as writers called to the problem of the exploitation of workers, also Engel whose name pales against Marx and unfairly so.
>>2056251
Why wouldnt they? No one on earth is that unique and special. When you are given the same resources and environment you will probably do the same thing that others do. Thats why so many inventions come out at around the same time despite the inventors not knowing about each other. Someone else would have definitely written about it, because they were already doing so.
Yes. In the 20th century new military technology disrupted the old order of things, manpower and mass conscription became important. An ideology that helps you recruit tons of peasants is useful, also an ideology that can give an authoritarian regime a liberal gloss.

Like multiple well known folk talked about it but not all the same points.
