what are some nice /his/ games or some games that make you feel like a conqueror?
Mount and blade
Anything by Paradox Interactive
paradox games involve a lot of micromanagement when you decide to take over the world, I think total war wins this

This sucks so hard. Its not even fun micromanagement its just annoying bullshit with hundred popups in one day and pausing every day and screening through the whole world to keep the situation under control.
I never understood the autistic painting the world all one color thing people do in Paradox Games.
It's way more fun to have a decent enemy to battle with through the endgame.

so starcraft?

They have done very little to fight piracy, which is nice since it makes the games very easy to modify.

It's only autistic color painting if you don't have an imagination. You'd never understand it if you've never played a game like Crusader Kings 2 for long enough to get into the zone. Better objectives are things like that turn the Roman Empire into a batshit insane Paulician zealot state, or to kidnap and rape the daughter of the King of England.
Rule the Waves is pretty good.
