Red headed step child of realistic war anime.
Is there a movie about the third reich better than this one? I'd love some suggestions
Any opinions on Brest Fortress? I thought it was a pretty good movie and supposedly it's historically accurate but I don't know even to claim that myself desu
Come and see

How is it THE MOST historically accurate?
I just thought it was pretty good aside from the EBUL germans killing kids scene and the "look, we're not nazis. That means we're good and everyone else is bad!" attitude of the characters

GOAT war movie.
>mfw the Germans rounded up the villagers into a barn at the end
It was so obvious what was going to happen but it still fucked me up for a few days

I thought the tank battle was a pretty accurate depiction of what German infantry went through. Also the airfield scene towards the end looked pretty realistic if we are going off of survivor accounts of what happened.
The only scene that seemed out of place was the forced execution of civilians. I think the actual Wehrmacht wouldn't have much of a problem killing "partisans".

>Fury
Not as bad as people think, at least when it comes to straying from the source material.

>soviet propaganda
still excellent

>T-34/85s in Stalingrad
>historically accurate

Typical russian propaganda movie... That is:
+Good visuals
+Reenactment crews with tons of historical gear
+Good setting
- Propaganda bullshit equal to the 60's american war movies
- All that "We are poorly commanded!" <camera shows slaughter of civilians> and the clumsy germans.
Nice to watch, but inaccurate.
