How do you know you're a history buff? I sure *like* history but how do I know I can classify myself as a buff?
What's the point in trying to identify yourself as a "history buff"?
Does the title mean something special?
Isn't it enough to just appreciate something without a special title just because you are more interested in history more than others?

No anon, don't be ridiculous. How are you supposed to enjoy something without either taking a picture of it or lording it over others?

Honestly, I just want a quick word to describe myself and I don't like the idea of calling myself something I'm not sure I fully am
It's easier to say "I'm a history buff" over "I really, really, really like history"

Being able to enjoy and appreciate history without having to show it to people around me is already enough.

In situations like those yeah you can say "i'm a history buff" to show that you are sure of something.
Get a degree you hack.
If you don't have at least a BA you need to stop posting
if you've got history related stuff the way some people got anime shit around your bst, you're a history buff.

>tfw I got a history BA and still feel like a dumb retard, just slightly more knowledgeable than "not at all" in certain subjects
