I have a really strong interest towards the Georgian language, but I know it'd be one of the most useless skills ever.
I can go a whole life without hearing it spoken in the real world, and Georgia's really not the most prosper country.
What do?

Same but for Romanian.
Buy a book or an audio course, apparrently they're very good.

Wow nice.
I'm OP and I'm actually Romanian.
I can warn you Romanian is a hellish language.
It's extremely difficult.
Thanks for the audio course tip.

Huh, nice. I'm interested because it's so unique. It's Romano-Thracian with huge French and Slavic influence, right?
Take the audio-course with a grain of salt, though. I know some people who self-studied via such courses, and they praised it, but I never tried it myself.

Romanian is basically a Romance language with some Slavic influences.
There is extremely little Dacian/Thracian left. When Dacia was conquered by the Roman empire, everyone spoke Latin, and then Romanian spawned out of it.
You'll see a lot of similarities with other Romance languages such as French, Spanish and Italian.
Also, beware that people in Romania have very different accents. For example someone from the NE of the country will have a strong Russian-ish accent. There are like 3 major accents basically, but you will understand all of them just fine if you speak Romanian. Just mind the pronounciation.
You'll also find a ton of hilarious expressions.
