what is it about ruthless authoritarian regimes that attracts nerds? It seems like all self described neonazi or stalinist or maoist ect is just some shlubby loser with no girlfriend and too much free time who hate the current system for being "too harsh" on them, but then they idolize these failed systems as some utopia
Extremist ideologies in general attract outcasts because
1) They have more time to learn about and consider such ideologies
2) They have little connection to the society in which they live or possibly even dislike it
3) They're already a bit unhinged because they can't make friends in a fucking constitutional republic, aka EZ mode for the proletariat

They are among the meekest people, so they want to attatch themselves to power to feel like they are significant. It's just a projection of insecurity and self percieved inferiority.

Because they are oppresed by conspiring evil-people (Bourgeiose, Jews, Glebalists, Marxist culturalists etc.). Those regime would put evil to its place and our anon would be given the respect he deserves and authority will give him purpose, thus removing his burden of freedom.
