Why didn't the early Québécois join in on the American Revolution? The Americans and Canadiens shared a common enemy and it would probably incentivize the French to support the revolution more than they already did.
What was stopping them?

I've always argued that Jewish representation had a lot to do with how centralized and local media operations are (e.g. hollywood, NYC). Irish, as well as Jews, tend to have large populations in cultural centers
