The name of Macedonia wasn't some revisionism thing but reflects how the borders of the region changed overtime by how the Empires that ruled over the land crafted Macedonia as a 'province'. Originally, Macedonia had a lot of the territory of Greek Macedonia after the Ottomans got kicked out but Greece took it back.

No one wants to divide up the country because it would too much of an effort.
