I'm planing to move to southern Missouri and build farm like opines bakc in 1870s so no light bulbs and no running water I'm going to plat parsnips, Yukon golds, barley and rye have some Delware blue chickens with leghorn cock and some belted Galloway cattle but I need some thing to pull my plow like this one here's my ideas

Oxs, mules or Suffolk punch or Dutch daft horses

What do you think?
