I have been listening to a podcast about the revolutions from spain in the new world. It got me thinking I really knew nothing about this besides simon bolivar and gran colombia. Anyone have any good books on the subject?

>listen to Revolutions
>"This is pretty cool"
>French revolution time
>54 episodes
>"Why is my dick so hard?"
Honestly, it has more drama and TWEESTS than Game of Thrones.

French Revolution is good up to the Thermidorian Reaction. I can understand why he'd want to end it at 18 Brumaire but everything inbetween the Reaction and the Coup is kind of a slog. Out of what he's done so far I'm putting my most to least favorites as:
>Haitian Revolution
>French Revolution up to Thermidor
>Spanish America Revolution
>American Revolution
>French Revolution after Thermidor
>English Revolution

I think post Thermidor is a slog because his wife was pregnant with another child so he had to cut some juicy parts out, but the conspiracy of equals and Napoleon's romp in Egypt was pretty dope.

English Revolution is legitimately very boring though. I can't help but find a lot of English history to be that way. It SHOULD be interesting but something about it never grabs me.
Prince Rupert being the exception. That nigga's cool as fuck.
Independency from Spain was a mistake
