He's good when he sticks to the sources. and the fact that he lists all his primary and secondary sources in the description is A+.
There's Q&A sessions where you can tell he isn't well versed regarding a question, most likely cause he hasn't read up much on it or doesn't have a source for it, which is forgivable imo.
It's pretty good man.
It's better than some university lectures, worse than others.
Overall I'd give it a B+

Learning about how society was changed by the emergence of modern war and how antiquated notions of war were destroyed is an important lesson though. It's a show meant for casual history study. He couldn't just mention the horrors of the war once at the beginning and be done with it when the show is obviously meant for people who won't watch every single episode.
