I've got news for you.

There are bots on most boards that post text, images, and articles in order to steer conversation.

Thatcher should have recognized Taiwan as the heirs of the treaty and basically completely ignored the "people's" republic citing Tianamen square and various human rights violations as her justification and finding Taiwan aligned political allies within Hong Kong. It was her only mistake.
