I was reading a book called "poporul nemuritorilr" ( the undying people) by Constantin Virgil Gheorghiu which is a book about the Dacians. In the first part of the book it mentions the scythian invasion and occupation of Dacia. It talks about how the scythians dissapeared after ruling dacia for 100 years simply because the scythian women would have children with the slaves as opposed to the scythian men, it also goes to mention how the scythian men were incredibly effeminate and that is why their society declined despite being great conquerors. Are there any other sources on the Scythian civilization that mention this as the reason for their downfall?

The book does mention that they were very brutal and powerful, however they were afflicted with the "curse of femininity" as Herodotus called it. It is wierd that after 100 years they just dissapeared from Dacia without a fight.

The book implied it happened everywhere, not just Dacia. That's why I'm curious if there are other sources besides Herodotus ( the source the book does give)
