It's odd how Japan history is so much more popular than China history. is it really more interesting. China is such a bigger place than japan more things obviously happen, i guess since japan was more secluded it had more time to get freaky?

Furthermore, anyone studying East Asian history in PHD level has to have some background of Chinese History. It's like studying Medieval Europe without knowing Latin or Greco-Roman Culture.
