>x is a social construct
>y is a social construct
What I don't understand is how does something become "bad" or "wrong" if it's a social construct?
How is something being a social construct supposed to nullify an argument?
Typically that only gets brought up if some moron is acting as though this social construct has some sort of inherent validity. Pointing out that it's a social construct is pointing out that it doesn't have inherent validity, and you'll need to make an actual appeal to demonstrate its validity.

I think social constructions are good. Taxes well-used by the government, as long as it's not a shitty corrupt project.

Its a real term that most people use in place of an actual rebuttal because it'll make them sound like ebin highschool debate club pros.

Fuck off, leftist.
Nothing is "bad" or "wrong" because it is socially constructed, something that is socially constructed is simply socially constructed.

Many social constructs are good, like law and civilization, etc.
It has a bad connotation because it's primarily used to describe things that are supposedly restricting human nature in a negative way.
Saying something is a social construct is valid, but it's shitty to use as an argument against literally anything because nothing on this world can be invalidated by saying it doesn't have inherent value. That's 8 year old logic right there.

>inherent validity
How do you decide what is "inherently valid" or not?
