Why do Christians believe this (abject poverty, starvation and disease) is good?

Because nature and creation is good, overpopulation corrects itself to equilibrium.. OP is an egalitarian faggot who can't handle reality.

Less niggers in the world. If you follow the true path of Christianity, you'll know that black skinned folk are the crop of the devil.

Another lost soul filled with hatred and contempt for his fellow man.
I hope you find the right path, friend. And see the light of our blessed Lord and Savior.

Claiming Christ is a negro is blasphemy and denial of God's covenant with Abraham.. Burn that pic and repent.

We don't. Those are privations of the good, aka evils resulting from the Fall and the wickedness of man.
Jesus said to feed children not make them starve.
"And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” - Matthew 10:42

James 2
16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
But are you basically saying that you blame God for their situation anon?
Contextually, evil/sin is the cause of all this. The toil and struggle we face as a collective is due to having evil as an option of choice. We are literally commanded to be our brothers keeper, all because of the contrast of knowing both good and evil. By knowing evil, man is free to choose to do evil, which is separate from God, which is doing nothing in relation to the assistance of others, or doing something in relation to the assistance of others, which is good, which is not separate from God because it's the will of God.
You are venting frustration against our personal responsibility and ability to effect one another, and it makes sense to react that way when you only look at the surface, without having faith. Without faith in knowing that the Creator of all this in fact loves you, this entire situation looks like a massive box of oppression. But that's only if you believe the lie, which again, is evil.
God commanded, Jesus commanded, to look after one another. But you're saying God should do it all. That would obviously be easier, but clearly, if it's not evident yet, we are cursed in a duality. Where man has the responsibility to do the will of God, if he chooses not to, but to live for himself, to live in pyramid schemes that are doused with oppression, we get nothing done and the regression begins to manifest among man and the nations.
God's word and command is the direct, unfaltering, antidote to the current human condition. Evil is broken down and exposed like a virus under the microscope. How it infects and manipulates the perspective on a quantum scale.

Well why is it bad?

The more you suffer in real life the happier you will be when you die.
No joke, that's what people say at my church.
