Why don't we have any 21st century geniuses? Back in the day we had niggas like Archimedes, Plato, Leonardo da Vinci, Voltaire, Isaac Newton....20th century had people like Tesla, Edison, Von Braun...

Where are all our 21st century geniuses? You mean to tell me annoying faggots like Dawkins who shitpost on twitter all day are our geniuses?

We have, but you gonna hear about those in 22nd century

>Tesla, Edison, Von Braun...
btw you couldn't pick more reddit trio

>reddit
Reddit has good taste now?
>>
Archimedes, Leonardo, Newton and Tesla were all kind of fucked in the head. It's more likely that modern day super geniuses are so rare because autistic shut-ins can't get forward in life.

because back then they didn't have cognitive dissonance of learned systems as their limiters, taking up the reasoning side of ones' mind as a limiter instead of a measurer of what is...

example... economy, laws, rules of business/company, politically correct /social contracts', etc... all systems that can be logically acknowledge as they have a system of rules by which they operate and it induces a stoic cognitive dissonance among the people. Best example is kids who where home schooled against kids that went to public school.

Our ancestors had less of a "known world" being presented constantly, so it was probably easier to achieve original thought.

If by good taste you mean ignoring the big guys and listing those known in popculture than yes.

The 21st century barely started...

Does Carmack count?

Zizek is 10 times the philosopher Plato ever was. Plato was shit.

Not to mention the 21st century has only lasted 16 years.

Because the 21th century only started 15 years ago, most of our modern day genius like Stephen Hawking, Bill Gates, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Michio Kaku are classified as 20th century

>pushed the limits of the hardware
>was a catalyst in the growth of an entirely new cultural phenomena
>has the romantic story of being a 2smart4u tortured individual who rebelled against the system.

going by your meme suggestions (have you bought a tesla t-shirt yet you memeshitting faggot?) Dawkins is a 21st century genius

Then not him but it's because it's become harder and harder to achieve mastery in a single field, let alone multiple ones. Any PhD in mathematics knows far more math than Newton ever did, and achieving that takes time and discipline, which usually leaves little strength for other pursuits.
